Clinton on the issues

I will be the State Representative who puts your priorities over politics, listens, and brings people together to get things done.

  • Public Safety and Quality of Life

As a former law enforcement officer,  I know our community is safer when we invest in youth jobs and strengthen relationships amongst the community and the police. I’ll fight to improve your air and water quality, beautify open spaces, and reduce noise pollution.

  • Traffic and Roads

I’ll find innovative solutions to reduce traffic including conducting traffic studies, expanding public transportation, and making neighborhoods walkable. Fix the damn roads and secure state and federal resources for pothole repair, sidewalk improvement, and bridge upgrades.

  • Education and Young People

My two-year-old daughter means the world to me. I’ll ensure our kids have access to a world-class education, up-to-date school buildings, and access to vocational opportunities including internships and apprenticeships. I will advocate for grants to expand early childhood education.

  • Housing and Affordability

Families deserve to stay in the homes and neighborhoods they love without sacrificing their life savings. We must make it easier for long-term residents, first-time homebuyers, and seniors to find affordable places to live and stay.  I will hold utility companies accountable to reduce costs and stop rate hikes.

  • Opioid Crisis and Mental Health

Work together with law enforcement, frontline workers, and those suffering from addiction to find evidence-based best practices and craft a regional policy solution to end the opioid crisis. Secure funding for mental health centers and psychological first aid.

  • Seniors and Veterans

I’ll champion expanding property tax work-off programs to ensure seniors don’t lose their homes, invest in recreational activities, and stop cuts to in-home personal care attendings (PCAs). End veteran homelessness and prioritize transitional services for all those who served.
